Make Simple Posters
  • For Microsoft Excel or Works:
  • 1. Open a spreadsheet document.
  • 2. Pull down the File menu to Page Setup.
  • 3. Choose to Enlarge - 200%.
  • 4. Change all margins to .5 in.
  • 5. Design the poster in the upper left 2 x 2 page area.

  • Choose Format
    • Select Document
    • Set size to 2 pages across and 2 down
  • Create Poster

  • Print Instructions with Screen Shots
    • Windows – Ctrl/Alt/PrntScrn
    • Macintosh – Flash-it or SnapzPro
      • Open GRAB (applications/utilities)
        • Choose Capture > Window
        • Follow on screen directions
        • Click on the window you want to capture
        • Save the image to use in other programs.

    • The goal is the task or the process, not the time on the machine!

  • Set up folders on a server to save to (ask someone to help you!)
